Responsibilities
The role will leverage your strategy, analytical and problem-solving expertise as well as leadership skills, enabling you to have a meaningful impact on the performance of the business. The strategy Lead role leaves sufficient room for you to initiate and lead new topics as well, such as potential entry into a new category.
• Lead a cross-functional team to deliver end-to-end DCG projects across CMUs & markets with 1-2 direct reporting lines
• Provoke strategic thinking for the team by challenging the status quo and bringing new insights. Stretch the team’s thinking on strategic topics and strive for excellence
• Manage project timeline and key stakeholder meetings
• Identify areas of improvement within and outside the team and develop pragmatic ways of improvement
• Manage relationships with category and markets key stakeholders
• Drive change through clear and impactful communication with senior leaders in the business
REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS
The successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
• Experience at a top-tier strategy consulting firm with exposure to consumer goods sector
• Commercial exposure (marketing & sales) of consumer goods, or retail, or healthcare companies preferred
• Strong skills in project and people management
• Capability of translating analyses into implementable solutions and identifying implementation challenges
• Curious – always on the lookout for new trends and ideas externally, keeps hand on the pulse of the industry
• Ability to influence and work well with senior executive teams.
