Job Title: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Lagos
Our Client, an FMCG Food company is looking to employ the services of a Senior Marketing Manager to develop and manage all marketing strategies in line with the organization’s objectives towards achieving long term growth and profitability.
Core Responsibilities and Key Result Areas
Development and Implementation of Integrated Marketing Strategies
- Develop below the line marketing strategies that help the company to win in store
- Oversee the company’s activations team
- Develop digital strategies to drive online traffic to the company’s owned and partner e-commerce platforms
- Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns utilising a range of techniques including SEO’s and PPC.
- Collaborate with design team to constantly maintain and improve the company’s brand’s across all touch points
- Oversee social media strategy for the company
- Supervise tracking of conversion rates and other performance measures for all campaigns and promotions on and off line
- Manage relationships with creative agency partners as well as cross-functional teams and external vendors.
- Monitor effective utilization of brands marketing budget to achieve the set objectives
Product Innovation/Development
- Oversee product innovation operations as well as liaisons with different departments.
- Review new technologies while keeping the company at the forefront of developments in the digital marketing space
- Lead cross-functional innovation teams to drive agreed innovation projects as it applies to products and store locations ensuring alignment to brands’ vision
Customer Relations Management
- Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data
- Manage customer care platform whilst ensuring quick and appropriate resolutions to complaints and inquiries
- Keep abreast with the ever-changing customer preferences
Sales Performance
- Develop weekly sales performance reports to depict company performance across all digital platforms and campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPI)
- Review departmental performance and participate in peer review sessions
Strategic Direction and Leadership
- Participate in departmental, interdepartmental and external strategy meetings that help guide business direction for the company
- Analyse and forecast marketing budgets yearly
Knowledge Requirements
- Knowledge in identifying target audiences creatively devising and leading across channels marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivate
- Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
- Knowledge in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords campaigns
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
- Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management and Content Management System software
- Understands BTL & ATL strategies
- Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
- Knowledge of research methods; data analytics software
Job Specifications
- A good first degree in social /management/physical sciences
- Possession of a Post graduate degree in Marketing/Business Administration or related degree is an added advantage
- Membership of the NIMC, APCN, AAN, or any other related professional qualification is required
- Minimum of 10 years Marketing hands on work experience in a similar role in an FMCG Industry.
