Our Client, a leading Drinks company with several subsidiaries in Africa, is looking to hire a senior legal professional for the efficient administration the company, particularly with regard to ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Prepare, approve, sign and seal agreements leases, legal forms, and other official documents on the company’s behalf, as well as thoroughly scrutinize legal/contractual documents from external sources seeking to enter business relationships with the company. Engage legal advisors and defend the rights of the company in Courts of Law. Facilitates out-of-court settlements, Interpret laws, rulings and regulations for the company. Prepare, draft, and review legal documents, such as deeds, leases, and contracts. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes, Confer with colleagues with specialties in appropriate areas of legal issue to establish and verify bases for legal proceedings. Any other duties as assigned by the CEO. Participate in the formulation and implementation of company’s compliance policies and procedures to address current and emerging issues in applicable laws/regulations.
Experience / Education Required:
• Bachelor’s degree in LLB with at least 7-15 years’ experience in a similar role with at least 5 years’ experience at senior management Level
• Great Leader, Innovative, Adept team-player and detail oriented
• Good Communication, analytical, Planning and organizational skills
