Our client is a leading multinational food and agri-business, is seeking to hire qualified and highly motivated individual to take up the role of an HR Manager for its plant in either Ilorin or Kaduna.
Responsibilities
- Must be able to run end-to-end HR activities in the organization.
- Develop and implement a human resources management plan, which includes strategies for the factory employees.
- Provide internal HR learning and talent development services to the company.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of labour regulations in Nigeria and ensure that both the employees and company abide by it.
- Ensure that all recruitment activities and processes are carried out in compliance with Company’s approved policies and procedures.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of employee information (contracts, leave dates, performance reviews, references, queries, etc.) and ensure that information on all employees is up-to-date.
Requirements
- First degree in Social Sciences or any related field
- 6-8 years’ experience for ILORIN and 10-12 years’ experience for KADUNA.
- CIPM certification is an added advantage
- Knowledge of developing and implementing HR strategies and plans.
- Experience of developing and implementing HR processes, such as, employee surveys, performance evaluations, employee inductions, etc.
- Leadership and supervisory experience
- Effective conflict management skills.
