Title: Head of Fulfillment
Location: Lagos
Role & Responsibilities:
Management of Order fulfilment processes and team
- Manages the order fulfilment process including orders through digital channels and processing of in store orders.
- Ensuring daily order processing activities are within SLA
- Capacity planning in line with weekly volume projection and schedule
- Weekly team meetings to ensure deadlines and targets are met
- Maintain healthy and timely relationships with vendors so that you are able to source special orders in a timely and efficient manner
- Escalate issues to senior management within an appropriate time frame and provide warehouse management with end of day / shift handover information
- Responsible for the management of daily order transactions and ensure smooth operations amongst related departments i.e. inbound, inventory, Order processing, Delivery
- Performance management including benchmarking with other companies, appraisals and team coaching
- Responsible for filling orders generated one commerce/ADCs (either B2C or
- B2B) in a timely manner within stated SLA
- Manages the logistic arm of the FC in such a way to guarantee efficiency and
Productive outcomes.
- Review adequacy per time while seeking relevant approvals for upgrade or downgrade in capacity in relation to market realities.
Cost reduction
- Continuously find innovative ways to reduce cost across all internal operations department by increasing productivity as well as reducing lost due to theft and damages of items
- Improve efficient usage of work tools and material handling
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelors. Degree (Pharmacy, Business Administration, Logistics- supply chain, Economics, Engineering)
- Minimum of 3 years Pharma, E-Commerce experience
- Ability to negotiate and communicate in flawless English Demonstrated competency in data reporting and analysis
- Experience or high level of comfort in logistics operations
- Experience of E-commerce fulfillment best practice, with an understanding of customer and seller behavior
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Familiarity with working in a culturally diverse environment
- Excellent People, Problem-solving, Negotiation, Time management and Coordination skills.
- Self-Driven and great independent follow-through Ability
- Strong entrepreneurial skills, leadership, and drive
